About Dave Bucciero

Dave Bucciero is the head coach of the American University women’s soccer program. Prior to joining AU, he was the associate head coach at Boston University. During his tenure, the Terriers went 73-37-14, captured four America East Championships and made five NCAA Tournament appearances. Bucciero also assisted in developing 15 America East All-Conference First Team Selections and helped lead the program to its highest ranking ever in 2006, as the Terriers were ranked No. 10 in the country. Bucciero has also been actively involved in the Region 1 Girls Olympic Development Program as both a goalkeeper and team coach. He is currently the Under-14 Region 1 Girls Head Coach as well as the Co-Head Coach of the Goalkeeper Program. His responsibilities include evaluating and selecting the Under- 14 Regional Team and evaluating potential goalkeeper coaches for the Region 1 Program. He also holds both a USSF “A” License and an NSCAA Advanced License.
