Dave BuccieroDavid Bucciero, whose primary responsibility is working with the goalkeepers, will be entering his 7th year on the Terrier staff. Prior to his coming to Boston University, he was an assistant coach for three years at Texas Tech University where he had numerous responsibilities beyond working with the keepers. He was also the program’s recruiting coordinator, and he planned, organized, and directed certain fundraising projects. He also handled the team’s scheduling his last two years and organized the travel plans. During this time period, he was also the assistant coach for the under-15 boys’ team in the Maryland Olympic Development Program during 1997-98 and was the assistant men’s soccer coach/goalkeeper coach at Washington College in Chestertown, MD from 1996-98. While at Washington College, he received his master’s degree in history. In 1998, he moved to Texas Tech. From 2000 to the time he left, he was also the Director of Coaching for the Lubbock Elite Youth soccer Club. A native of Vienna, VA, Bucciero was a four-year letterman as a keeper at James Madison University. During his freshman year, he returned home to play for the Vista Hurricane under-19 club team. The team went on to win the national club title. Then, his junior and senior years at JMU, the Dukes advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament before they were eliminated. Bucciero holds a United States Soccer Federation ‘A’ License as well as an NSCAA Advanced License. In addition to coaching the Terriers, he has been actively involved in the Region I Olympic Development Program. From 2002-2006 he was a Head Coach in the Massachusetts State ODP Program. He is the co-Head Goalkeeper Coach for the Region 1 Girls ODP Program and the Assistant Coach for the Under-14 Regional Team. Experience
Jonathan Evan During his tenure at Jacksonville from 2003-05, Evan helped turn the Dolphins’ program around from a 3-11-3 record to a respectable 15-17-3 record within two years. Evan assisted with organizing and running practices, supervising the strength and conditioning programs and helping identify and recruit future student-athletes. Evan also served as goalkeeper coach at Jacksonville.
Becky Conway
Honor: America East Academic Honor Roll. High School (Billerica): Was a four-year goalkeeper where she posted 21 career shutouts and compiled an outstanding 0.97 goals against average…Also had a goal and two assists during her scholastic career…As a senior, she was named to the Merrimack Valley All-Conference Team for the third straight year. Was also named to the Lowell Sun All-Star Team for the second straight year and was voted Second Team EMass All-Star….Played on Bay State Games championship team her junior year…High school teams advanced to the MIAA State tournament all four years she was there, as it marked 15 straight years in which Billerica qualified for the State tournament…Also excelled in both basketball and track. In basketball, she was the team’s leading scorer as both a freshman and sophomore and was team captain as a junior. Her sophomore year, she was also a conference all-star as team won the MVC Division 2 title…In track, she set a school freshman record in the javelin and went on to finish sixth in the State meet. Her sophomore year, she finished fifth in the State meet in both the javelin and discus and earned All-Conference honors along with Second Team Lowell Sun All-Star…An outstanding student as well, she finished in the top five percent of her class and was in the National Honor Society. Stephanie Dreyer
Honor Won: America East Academic Honor Roll. High School (New Rochelle High School): Was team goalkeeper for three years…During her senior season of 2003, she was named All-Conference and League MVP and as the Co-MVP of her team…Also received the New Rochelle Sports Hall of Fame Award…As a junior in 2002, she received All-League and All-Section honors, while she was an All-Section Honorable Mention in 2001… Freshman year was named the Best Prospect Player and given the Strive for Excellence Award… An outstanding student, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. Personal: Daughter of Steven and Lois Dreyer…Enrolled in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences…Born on April 9, 1985.
Lauren Stewart
High School (Amador Valley): Sophomore year was named team's defensive MVP…Club was ranked third in California, won the Nor Cal premier league championship in 2001 and 2002 and place second in the State Cup in 2003…Played in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) in 2003 and 2004 and captained the team in 2004…She played in two international matches against the Mexican Women's National Team…Career statistics included 34 shutouts and a 0.24 goals against average in club competition and 11 shutouts and a 0.28 GAA in high school matches…Academically, she received the North Coast Scholar-Athlete Award in 2001 and 2002 as well as the Golden State Award in biology. Personal: Daughter of Bob and Debby Stewart…Enrolled in the University's College of General Studies…Born on May 15, 1986.
Amanda Webb
Highschool: Two-time All-State selection... Four-year starter... Team captain... Led team to a 13-4-3 mark and NEPSAC Class C championship as a senior... Also played basketball and softball... Personal: Her father, John Webb, played football at Boston University.

Jonathan Evan, former assistant coach at Jacksonville University, begins his first season at Boston University, after having joined the men’s soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2006. Evan works primarily with the goalkeepers at BU.
